Mapping Protein-Protein Interactions using HaloTag® NAPPA Microarrays Reveals Hormone Signaling Crosstalk in Arabidopsis Science Poster

A major objective in the post-genomic era is to assign detailed molecular function to the large number of protein coding genes.
For example, Arabidopsis contains over 2,000 transcription factors and transcriptional regulators (TF's), most of which are uncharacterized.
Recently, protein microarrays have emerged as a complementary approach to study protein funciton for organisms including Arabidopsis, yeast and human.
We report the development of a novel high-affinity capture technique for the fabrication of in situ synthesized NAPPA protein microarrays representing over 12,000 Arabidopsis ORFs, and demonstrate its utility by mapping the protein:protein interaction network of 38 Arabidopsis transcription factors.
